Kia Unveils 2027 Telluride in New Year’s Takeover

2026 is right around the corner, and Kia is ready to celebrate the new year, while giving a nod to the success of 2025. The success of the Kia Telluride was a major turning point for the brand, as it was the first Kia designed for the U.S. market. It performed very well, even earning several awards.

In honor of the Kia Telluride’s success and the people that made it happen; Kia will be taking over Times Square’s New Year’s Eve countdown clock! At 11:59pm, they will show clips teasing the 2027 Telluride’s new design, then showcase and shoutout the staff that put these cars together. Russell Wager, vice president, marketing, Kia America says, “We are pleased to celebrate our Kia Georgia Team Members at the turn of the New Year as both the Telluride and the change in calendar are transformative points in the Kia journey. The dedication of Team Members at our plant in West Point, Georgia, is what made the Telluride the success that it is today and has helped demand grow each and every year.”

The biggest change we see in the 2027 Telluride is the introduction of a hybrid engine! The Telluride Hybrid is estimated to get 35 MPG and has a range of 600 miles. The Telluride X-Pro features a 2.5L Turbo-engine with 8-speed automatic transmission. Its all-wheel drive will make sure you’re good to go in any conditions. In addition, this model has higher ground clearance, 18-in. alloy wheels, all-terrain tires, and 5,000 lbs. of towing capacity to make every trip great.

The interiors got an upgrade too! The 2027 Telluride has seating for up to 8 passengers, 2nd-row legroom on the gas model, heated seats in all 3 rows on the hybrid model, and an available ambient lighting system. You don’t have to sacrifice your comfort for a great car!

Make sure you keep checking back in for more updates on this car and to see when we’ll have it in stock!
